The Cackle Car
Rod Powell put the louvers in the body for Tom.
Tom calls this the Tampa Dump.
In 1963 Don Garlits came to California with this motor angle,
almost 9 degrees down.
By the next race most had copied this angle.
That is why they call it a Tampa Dump.
This car was built for Tom Prufer from Texas. Tom absolutely loved the car. He told us that we nailed the look he had in mind! He was very impressed with all the details.
